Hi, I’m Shriya!

I’m a storyteller at heart, a visual thinker, a marketing and PR enthusiast, and someone who believes there’s always a story hiding in the everyday.

​

Born and brought up in a small town in India, I never imagined that education, work, and love would take me far beyond the place I called home. Along the way, I’ve lived, learned, explored, adapted, and collected countless little experiences that have shaped the person I am today.

​

I’ve always been drawn to words and visuals. I love putting thoughts into words, finding the right way to tell a story, creating something that looks and feels right, and turning an idea into something people can connect with.

​

That naturally found its way into my professional life too.​

 

What I Do

My world now sits at the intersection of marketing, content, social media, and storytelling.

​

I work on content writing, social media marketing and management, content strategy, brand communication, and creating content that helps businesses and people tell their stories in ways that feel authentic to them.

​

I enjoy the creative side of marketing just as much as the strategic side — coming up with ideas, understanding an audience, finding the right words, building a content plan, and creating a consistent brand voice.

​

And yes, I’m still learning along the way. I believe good marketing, just like good storytelling, is something you never really stop learning.

Living the Shriya Way started as a creative outlet and a place to take my love for writing a little further.

​

Today, it’s a collection of the things I genuinely love — travel, food, home, family, fashion, movies, everyday discoveries, stories, experiences, and all the little things that make life more interesting.

​

I love travelling and discovering new places, but I’m equally happy with a slow morning, a cozy space, a great cup of coffee, or getting completely hooked on a thriller series.

​

My idea of relaxation can be anything from spending time with family and listening to music to watching movies, discovering a new restaurant, exploring a new place, or unapologetically being a couch potato for an entire evening.

A Little More About Me

Family has always been a huge part of my life. I feel incredibly lucky to have my parents, sibling, my wonderful husband, and the people who have become family along the way.

​

I’m a little nostalgic, endlessly curious, and always looking for something that makes an ordinary day feel a little more special.

​

I like beautiful things, but I also like real things. The perfectly planned trip and the completely unplanned detour. The fancy dinner and the comfort food. The productive day and the day spent doing absolutely nothing.

​

Maybe that’s what Living the Shriya Way really means to me — finding a balance between all of it and making space for the things that bring you joy.

​
